A seafaring adventure inspires a new figurine

One interesting work of art from the postcard series is the subject of a new Member's Exclusive figurine for Club Year 32. Brave Voyager has been a PFE (Possible Future Edition) since 1994 when it was first in a 3.50" size (Hum 796) by Master Sculptor Helmut Fischer. It was ranked high on the list of PFE's most desired by collectors. The new 4.25" version of Brave Voyager (Hum 796/I) was sculpted by Silvia Exner under the supervision of Helmut Fischer in 2007.

We can only guess what inspired Sister Hummel's vision of a child sailing off in a Viking ship. But it is intended as a New year's greeting and represents an adventure about to begin! The figurine comes with a ceramic representation of the original postcard art, and a wooden easel for display. You may order Brave Voyager now at mihummelclub.com, or by phone at 1-800-666-CLUB (2582). And remember, SHIPPING IS FREE!
